Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire question relating to Professor Dumbledore...?

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (by J.K. Rowling), on page 696 of the American version: '' '...And he was right--he could touch me without hurting himself, he touched my face.' For a fleering instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes.'' Harry said this as he explained what happened in grave yard when Voldemort returned. How would you analyze this? Is Dumbledore really a death eater?

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire question relating to Professor Dumbledore...?hijack this

No, Dumbledore is not a death eater. I think that the fact Voldemort used Harry's blood to reanimate himself will backfire on him in the end. Dumbledore recognized this...his emotion was triumph upon hearing Harry's story. Voldemort's actions will somehow end up helping Harry defeat him.

If Dumbledore was a death-eater then why would he duel with Voldemort?

Also, look at the fact that every death eater hates him, and he was killed by Snape.

I think you are over analyzing this...
it means that beacause the spell the harry mother put on harry which was love, befor ethe ending of the 4h book, volemort could not touchhim without burning up.
No, Lord Voldemort was attempting to control Dumbledore, the same way he controlled Harry's dreams with his mild control over him, so that's why Dumbledore tries to avoid Harry throughout the book, so that Voldemort will not take grasp of him and tempt him to do something...unpleasant :[
