What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is a dearness only that givesd everything its value. That there shall be those who in good times stand by you in a conflict but when times become hard they shall save themselves and ignore the greater good. Those that are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good, for the protection of their liberties shall be remembered by future generations and receive the thanks of a grateful nation.
That is indeed good that a struggle against oppression is a hard battle, lest we take for granted the liberties won at the end. That we shall not easily surrender them to anyone and shall cherish them as long as breath is in our lungs. If you work hard for something you'll not be quick to surrender it will you? And so it is with a fight for liberty.
